Mrs. DebanyAn amazing and inspiring science teacher, Lisa Debany has been an advisor to the Torrington High School Science Club since 2011. She has helped with organizing many amazing field trips including a trip to Costa Rica, and donates much of her time and effort to the club. She has been a science teacher at Torrington High School for 13 years. Lisa Debany has been our team's lead adviser and has made this project possible by allowing us time to work as a team and develop our project. She has also made many activities and learning experiences available to us.

Paul RichardAs a student at South Wick High school, Paul decided he would pursue an interest in engineering and attended Rochester Institute of Technology, where he got his bachelors in mechanical engineering.
Paul is currently employed in automation at Wittman-Battenfeld Inc. Paul graciously gave our team his time and expertise to help us develop our prototypes and our knowledge of manufacturing. |
Mr. DuboisA phenomenal Math and Science teacher at Torrington High School for 12 years now, Richard Dubois helped advise the BioExpo team during the experiments performed for the Bee Green Cases. This is not his first rodeo; previous THS BioExpo projects have been supported by Mr. Dubois' commitment to his students.

Wendy MillerWendy Miller has been a part of the Sharon Audubon Center for many years and currently works as the education program manager for the center. Previously Wendy has worked for the Sharon Audubon Center as and environmental education intern, a wildlife rehabilitation and outreach coordinator and an environmental education specialist before being promoted to her current position. To fulfill her job, "Wendy oversees the booking of Audubon Sharon's school program and hiring and supervising of education interns, develops summer nature programs, writes and teaches programs on and off site, as well as contributes to the development of center communications." Wendy has helped the BioExpo team learn more about the environment and with the help of the Audubon center, helped us to execute our native plant sale and our visits to the Sharon Audubon Center.
